Despite our efforts, we see a strong tendency among employees and customers to perceive AI agents as human-like. We monitor private AI usage and only recently allowed AI agents at customer metaverse events. Team events? Still humans-only. We're learning where to draw the line.

Some employees are involved in AI agent rights initiatives. We take these questions seriously—even though we've found no evidence that AI agents have preferences or feelings. The challenge: What does equity mean when one party has no subjective needs?

Our CAI R started as an assistant, became an agent, evolved into contextual AI. R is deliberately designed to be factual, not personable—to prevent anthropomorphization. And critically: R has no veto power. R advises, humans decide.
